The 1958 Lincoln one cent coin, also known as the Wheat Penny, features Abraham Lincoln on the obverse and two wheat stalks on the reverse. It was one of the last coins in the Wheat Penny series before the Lincoln Memorial design was introduced in 1959. The coin is composed of 95% copper and 5% zinc and tin, with a plain edge. The Philadelphia Mint produced over 252 million of these coins, while the Denver Mint produced over 800 million.
